Getting ever closer
Sorry I haven’t been keeping up with my blog but I have been traveling and getting things ready for this weekend. I am in Ogden Utah getting my skis for the race, Goode skis have made me a specific ski that should be 300-400grams lighter per foot than last year, that will be huge!! It will definitely be a psychological and physical advantage that will equal more vertical. The ski will weigh in around 700grams per foot plus bindings.
I am feeling good, Frank and I hiked up in the mountains today to get some acclimatization and I hope to get up to 11000 feet in the Wasatch tomorrow. Apart from that it is time to focus on all the small things that will make this race easier. Food, skins, bindings, boots, clothing and many other little things to deal with.
Again I am sorry I have not had much to write about but I will be back soon.

Giv’er Greg! We’re rooting for you at home.
Good going Greg!!
Col says it’s a good job for you he’s not racing any more as he’d obviously have managed a few more laps than you……… did he say ‘laps’? he meant ‘naps’!!!!!
Well done from all of us here. We’ve shown everyone we know in Cornwall (whether they want to see or not) our famous ‘brother in law’!
See you in April – can’t wait – have you got your platform shoes and flares ready??
Liz and Col 🙂
