little Sifton

Rogers Pass Rewarding First day in the pass and immediately I knew I would be skiing some real selkirk powder. Ten of us toured up Grizzly shoulder, breaking trail through 40 cms of fresh snow. From there we went up to Little Sifton, and summitted the 9100 foot peak. great turns were had in the alpine but we knew the best snow lay below tree line.

Steep and deep, hero skiing. We skied one lap into Grizzly bowl and toured back up our skin track to ski Puff Daddy home. Great day for all of us, Frank’s second day of the season and he toured as much as his largest day last year. Imagine what he will get up to this year. 6500 ft of fantastic skiing, well a few hundred feet of alder bashing but pretty amazing for Nov 18.
